Important update on the future of Community Options
For more than 30 years, Community Options has been dedicated in providing high-quality, personalised support to the Canberra community. We are incredibly proud of the impact we have made and will continue to make in helping people access the care and services they need.
It is with deep sadness to announce Community Options will withdraw from the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Commonwealth funded Aged Care Services. The difficult decision by the Board came after an extensive review of the significant changes to Commonwealth aged care programs and key changes in the NDIS framework. Community Options will continue to provide Case Management as an independent service provider. This decision has not been taken lightly.
While this transition period marks the end of many chapters, Community Options will continue to operate as an independent, grassroots case management service, supporting at-risk individuals and families across various sectors.
Our priority is to ensure all impacted clients receive a smooth and supported transition to a new provider. We will work closely with each client to identify and arrange a provider that meets their needs and offer support and guidance throughout the transition process.
